OneScript

Terms of Use

Terms governing your use of OneScript.

These terms apply to the OneScript app and the onescript.define.to website. "OneScript", "we", and "us" refer to the operator of OneScript. By using OneScript, you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy.

The OneScript app is distributed through the App Store and is also subject to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement.

Your code and projects

You keep all rights to the code, resources, projects, and data you create or import in OneScript.

When you create a share link, you allow us to store the packaged project and make it available to anyone with the link until the link expires or you revoke it.

OneScript itself, including the app, the onescript runtime and APIs, and the documentation, belongs to us and our licensors. You may freely use, modify, and share projects based on the example projects bundled with the app.

Running scripts

OneScript runs TypeScript and JavaScript code on your device. Scripts can read and write files, access system permissions you grant, and send requests over the network.

You are responsible for the scripts you run, whether you wrote them, generated them with the AI assistant, or imported them from someone else. Review unfamiliar code before running it, and don't put passwords, API keys, or other secrets into projects you plan to share. We aren't responsible for data loss, leaked credentials, network charges, or other problems caused by scripts you run.

Signing in is optional and only needed to create share links. When using OneScript and share links, you agree not to:

  • Upload code or files that you don't have the right to share, or that infringe someone else's intellectual property or privacy
  • Distribute malware, phishing pages, or projects designed to harm, deceive, or collect data from others without their consent
  • Use share links to store or distribute illegal content
  • Abuse share links as general file hosting, bypass rate or quota limits, or disrupt our servers

We may set limits on upload size, frequency, and active links. We may remove share links or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or are reported for abuse, without prior notice.

You can revoke your share links or delete your account at any time in the app.

AI assistant and third-party services

The AI assistant connects to model providers you configure using your own API keys. Your use of those providers is governed by their terms, and you are responsible for any usage fees they charge. AI-generated code and answers may be inaccurate or unsafe—review them before running or relying on them.

OneScript also connects to third-party services when you use certain features, including npm registries, Apple iCloud, shortcut signing services, and any servers your scripts call. We don't control these services and aren't responsible for their availability, behavior, or content.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

OneScript is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the app or website will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that projects and data stored on your device, in iCloud, or in share links will never be lost. Keep backups of code and data that matter to you.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or third-party service fees arising from your use of or inability to use OneScript.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The updated version will be posted on this page, and the last updated date is shown at the bottom of the page. If there are significant changes, we'll let you know in the app or on the website. Continued use of OneScript after an update means you accept the updated terms.
